Well all the damn cats are outside now. We caught frida pissing behind the tv and figure out that she had done it more than once. So out she went. Then a couple of days later we found a doodie upstairs in the game room. So out went clarence. I am so sad that they have to be outside but i cannot keep trying to clean up their mess. Especially since it is so hard to get rid of the smell of cat pee.
I'm trying to work on some tag blankets and at the same time cover my cell phone in rhinestones. I need to head to the craft store to buy some gem-tac or e6000. I tried it with goop and that damn stones peeled right off. DOH. In the end i was glad because i had done a skull a-la dia de los muertos but then didn't end up liking the way the stones looked after all. I need different colors for that to look good. So now i have to think of something else to make. I think i'm gonna do a simple peace sign. Too bad i can't tie dye the phone. lol

Oh my gosh i want to kill one of the cats. We emptied out our broom closet in the kitchen and turned it into their potty closet. I had chris put a little kitty door in the door so that we could keep it closed. That way i wouldn't have to catch whiffs of cat stink everytime i walked by.
Well one of the cats did not like it so to protest he started using our game room as his toilet. grrr. 2 days in a row i had to clean poop and pee. Well we figured out it was the orange cat so i put him outside. This was after several days of giving him a chance to use the litter box. I left the door to the closet open in the hopes that he would use it.
Well little did we know how much time he spend "depositing" his pee elsewhere. I found out today when i opened my box of felt to make portia a peter pan hat. Everything inside reeked and felt icky. grrr. Just before putting orange kitty outside i had that box open. So then i started sniffing around the entire room to see if i could smell anything else. Well well well under my cutting table i had all sorts of "soft" stuff, cause apparently a soft surface is required for peeing.
Everything was peed on and ruined!! I am so fucking pissed. I can wash the fabric and the flannel with sport wash, that should take out the smell. *crossing fingers* There was a bag with yarn and a bunch of assorted stuff that is just ruined, can't wash it type of stuff. So i moved everything out from under that table and threw out a lot and the rest i am gonna wash.
I sprayed the shit out of the carpet with enzyme cleaner. If i find anymore cat pee on anything i think i'm gonna slap myself. lol
He already ruined my puff chair and it is gonna cost something like $200 to replace the cushion. He also peed on the futon which i cleaned but i don't think anybody wants to get anywhere near it now. DOH so we are gonna have to replace that too. FUDGE FUDGE FUDGE

Well it has been a long time and i had every intention of updating regularly. Of course that didn't happen.
Lucien is now 5 months old and such a happy baby. He is rolling over like a pro and if you put him on the floor he will just roll until he hits a solid object. Then he will start complaining. lol He also likes to growl. It is just the cutest thing and he can make it very deep. He smiles and laughs a lot, especially if you touch any ticklish spots. He is like chris and almost every spot on his body is ticklish. :) Especially around his neck, his ribs and his little butt cheeks. I will give them a squeeze and he just roars with laughter.
He also enjoys having daddy throw him up in the air. He will puts his hands right up against his head and laughs. He will also curl his legs out behind him. Right now he is in the game room with me in his play pen. If i don't put him in the baby prison (this is what marina calls it) he will roll and who knows where he will end up.
On Friday i acquired 3 cats.........yes 3!! A lady on freecycle needed someone to take them asap. they were about to move out of state and had been trying to find them a home. nobody wanted them and they could not take the cats on the plane because southwest does not allow animals on it's flights. So i told her i would take them and see if i could find a place for them. Kinda like a temporary thing. Well now everyone loves them even though they are very scared and a little freaked out by all the change.
They are just beautiful and so sweet. There are 2 males and one female. An orange striped tabby, a calico and one that is all white. We named them Frida, Diego, and snowflake. I had to change the names because they were named after a former republican president and his wife and i was not gonna call them by those names. ;) Anyway we are gonna have to see how it goes with them and then decide if we want to try to find them new homes. We will probably keep at least one of them.
On Saturday we went to a nurse-in at Victoria's Secret in the galleria mall. It was a nation wide event that was taking place because of bad treatment towards 2 breastfeeding momma's in 2 different states. VS's all over the us were targeted by us crazy lactivist boobfeeders. ;) It was great to meet some of the other moms and to just hang out and chat.
The treatment we received from the employees was just awful and i will never ever shop at victoria's secret. They sprayed perfume in our direction over and over in an effort to get us to leave. We were outside the store. At one point a manager even came up and was seen telling the employees to spray us. They had all removed their nametags so we couldn't even get names.
They finally had security come over and ask us to move away from the front of the store. He was nice and asked us to sit more in the center of the mall rather than right in front of the store. He said he understood what we were doing and why were there and that they wanted to work with us. And that normally they don't allow anyone to sit on the ground but that they would not bother us about it. Well how convenient considering there was absolutely no where to sit. No benches, chairs nada.
And the only reason they were being nice is because 2 years ago this exact same mall had a security guard ask a nursing mother to leave. there was a huge nurse-in and it received a lot of media coverage. I'm sure they didn't want that to happen again.
anyway it went well and we got a lot of attention and got the point across to VS. the mall happened to be packed that day because mary j. blige was making a personal appearance at the sephora store so tons of people walked by.

i have some pictures of different things i have made. this stuff was for a swap partner while we were pregnant.

these are shots of a couple of things i made for lulu

and a shot of some plaster skulls that i made then painted. i need to attach hangers and they will hang in my dining room.
