I found an old picture of our house. This is specifically for my brother who keeps asking for a picture. :) This is only the front and none of the bushes and trees are there anymore. One totally blocked the front door and was just plain ugly. The bushes allowed ant piles a place to call home so out they went. The very tall tree right up against the house was bad for the foundation so it had to go too.

We now have one large tree in the middle of our yard and a sago palm.

All the kids are doing great, growing like weeds. :) Lucien is taking steps here and there but no real walking. He has a little 3 wheeled walker thingy that he uses to get around when we take the kids outside. Sometimes he uses it inside, but he gets very frustrated when it runs into something solid and he can't keep going. That is when his little horns pop out and he has a meltdown.

He has 4 teeth on the top coming in, yes altoghether and the last month he has been a bit of a crabby patty, mostly at night. He has also figured out how to express his anger at not being able to keep things that are no-no's. Like small beads, pens, pencils, scissors etc. Anything he is not supposed to have he immediately loves. ;) And when we ask him to give it back he usually crawls away very fast. So when we finally catch him and finagle it out of his mitts he has a kicking, screaming meltdown. ah joy

Portia is starting to regress to the angry little girl we had to deal with a couple of years ago. Mostly she lashes out when she is tired. It is very frustrating to watch her go back to that behavior but we will just have to wait it out again. A little patience and understanding can go a long way, but sometimes it is very had to pull that out of my hat when she is totally screeching at me. :)

Jewel is doing great. She is still the little helper and the most easy going. She asks a lot of questions, which is such a good thing. The other day chris and I were talking about something at the dinner table, don't remember what....but somehow the word vasectomy was mentioned. She was in the kitchen getting seconds when she heard us so she asked "what is a disectomy?" lol We laughed so hard it was super cute. She wants information on everything she hears about. She will ask anyone anytime to explain what they are talking about, i love this little learner in her. :)

Marina is the typical teenager, she can be super sweet one minute and then a raving mini-bitch the next. Ahhh the joys of hormonies. Most of the time she is at least civil, she can be a bit of a bully to her sisters which really pisses me off. So lately we have had to talk to her more and more about the way she treats others. She is beginning to get it and chillng out a bit. She can have a very vicious tongue when she wants to be mean. Chris and i are doing a lot of talking and again waiting it out. It gets better right??

The holidays went great. It was actually cold for xmas and yule. YAY I hate it when i am wearing shorts on those holidays. Here are some pictures

I have been a crafting fool the last few months. I squeeze in things whenever i get the chance. I have also been making fleece hats for charity. Some are going to a reservation in Montana and some will be donated to the star of hope mission here in Houston. I helped my neighbor make a bunch of domino necklaces for teacher gifts. I also have made a bunch of taggies, eye masks for sleeping, lots of domino pendants, a patchwork book bag for marina, a lovey doll and quilt for sophia, some super cute onesie dresses for sophia which i will hopefully mail tomorrow. I etched some glasses for my kiddos and for rick & veronika. And this weekend i want to start working on some retro patterns that i got last weekend. They are some groovy cool dresses from the 50's.

I am also currently crocheting squares for charity too. They will be made into blankets, not by me. :) I don't have the patience to connect all those squares but i don't mind making them. I really should keep up with this blog better it is very hard to remember all of the events of the last couple of months all in one sitting. *holy run-on sentence batman*

These are 3 gifts that i made for marina's friend Laci. A domino necklace, spongebob sleep mask, and a record bowl purse.

I will head upstairs in a little bit to sew some more. Hopefully i will remember to post more pics once i get up there, most of our pics are kept on the pc.
