He is walking a lot on his own, he can stand up without using a piece of furniture or a person. He gets up on his hands and feet and then stands up all the way. He says daddy and mama. Mostly da cause mama only gets used when he really really hurts himself. He will sign for milk (nursing). He is drinking whole milk and juice and eating a lot more solids. You can’t sit and eat anything without him immediately coming over to you and grabbing at what you have. He still wants to nurse, especially to sleep.
He loves to play with his sisters, especially Jewel. She plays with him the most and he knows it. He also knows when it is time to go bye bye. If he hears the keys or catches one of us putting on a jacket or shoes he will haul butt to the front door. Then he will pace (crawling) back and forth at the door. Kind of like a dog waiting to go for a walk. It is super cute. He loves to go outside or anywhere in the car. He gets pissed if someone goes out the front door without him. ha ha
He did not know what to make of his birthday cake. All he was interested in was the candle, he immediately took it and started sucking the frosting off of it. Then he would dip it back in the frosting to get more.
These last two pictures are of lu after he found my chocolate almond candy bar. He was so quiet hiding on the side of the couch that i decided to look around the corner. And look what i found.....
